rooted in our nature
sensuality -- vulnerability -- fierce feminine energy
rooted in our nature is an ongoing solo exploration using shadows, hand expressivity and tree branches. It's a journey of reviving my female sensuality guiding me as I navigate through darkness to (re)discover the essence of my identity. Creating soundscapes with my voice and clarinet allows me to connect to a fundamental ancestral call, supportive yet pushing me forward to recognise the necessary acceptance of change through interpretive preservation.

Liquid Distancing is the diffusion of materials and sounds in time and space. It allows audience members of all ages and backgrounds to connect to themselves and to interact with aural and visual stimuli as they are invited to experience this influx of art. Our installation embodies and embraces a marriage of control and freedom, transforming any space into a united liquid distance experience.
Preserve the Necessary Beauty
The duo project Preserve the Necessary beauty is a collaboration with the visual artist Hallveig Ágústsdóttir. Using each of our own personal extractions as inspiration from the unique layout of nature in Iceland and Italy (respectively), a dialogue emerges between two worlds within a shared space.
The sounds of the clarinet blending with the drawing’s imagery - colours, layers, melodies, lines, and other surprises - invite the visitor to experience Hallveig’s and AnnaMarie’s perceptions of nature’s beauty.
Arbol is an experience-oriented performance created and performed by AnnaMarie Ignarro and Hanne Poullet developed for people with a disability.

Clarinet, accordion, voice, loops and more...
This duo uses free improvisation as a tool, not as a genre. Often their music goes slow, lingering in an intimate space. In their playfulness they mix abstract contemporary sounds with short harmonic phrases, the music expressing a constant longing within a dreamy atmosphere. Travelling melodies encourage the desire to capture life’s smallest moments.
